Missing Custer Woman Found Dead

(Custer, SD) — A missing Custer woman has been found dead. Her body was found in rural Fall River County Tuesday evening near her vehicle. The Custer County SD Emergency Management issued a release yesterday with the news. 59-year-old Johnna Helen Bense was reported missing last week. Bense’s death is now being investigated by the Fall River County Sheriff’s Office.
