Mitchell Baseball Coach Found Not Guilty

(Mitchell, SD) — A Mitchell baseball coach accused of not reporting child abuse has been found not guilty. Jurors acquitted Luke Nordon of the charge and misprision of a felony. Mitchell Baseball Association former Board member Jeremy Borgan was also facing a charge but that was also dismissed. However, six players are still facing rape charges in adult court following an “alleged incident” in Pennington County. They’re scheduled to be back in court later this year after they all pleaded not guilty.
