(Mitchell, SD) — One business permit is being tabled and another is flat-out denied during Monday’s Mitchell City Council meeting. In both instances, the applicants were not in attendance. Dustin Feistner’s application for a vehicle-for-hire permit was denied. Feistner’s ride share license was revoked in 2023 when he pleaded guilty to drug possession charges after he was arrested for possession of meth. Josh Frost had applied for conditional-use permits for outside storage for Mitchell Towing and Recovery. City Council had intended to follow up on conditions that were set during its September 3rd meeting. The matter will be taken up again during the November 4th City Council meeting, with the stipulation that Frost is at the meeting.
