(Mitchell, SD) — Mitchell’s relocation initiative is proving to be a success. The city has been offering a thousand dollars to folks who move there and secure a full-time job. The Mitchell Area Development Corporation launched the program last fall, and officials say there has been a noticeable decrease of over 50 job openings. The program was initially funded with 25-thousand dollars but is now going to set up another additional 25-thousand as part of its restart at the beginning of March.
