More GOP Members Diminish Noem’s VP Chances

(Pierre, SD) — GOP members continue to make it clear Governor Noem is likely out of the running for Trump’s vice president nod. It all comes as part of the debacle from her admitting to shooting a 14-month-old puppy. As reported by The Hill, one Republican senator says, “She’s just done, too much drama.” That same senator said Trump has now expressed interest in North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum. Utah Senator Mitt Romney also weighed in on Noem’s puppy story hurting her case, saying it’s hard to legitimize any part of shooting a puppy. Several GOP senators are also touting South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott as their pick for Trump’s running mate after the Noem fallout.
