(Aberdeen, SD) — The mother of Morgan Bauer is speaking out after one of two people charged in connection to her daughter’s death pleaded guilty. Jonathan Alexander Warren has been sentenced to life in prison by Georgia prosecutors for his involvement in the murder of Morgan. Sherri Keenan said in a statement, “We are grateful we did not have to go through a trial, and that he instead chose to take responsibility for his actions. I will say the words “justice” and “peace” now hold new meaning for us all.” Bauer, an Aberdeen native, vanished two weeks after she moved to Atlanta from South Dakota in February of 2016.
