(Pierre, SD) — Lots of rain is in the forecast this weekend. Showers and storms will slowly move west to east across the state. That’s good news, considering the latest drought monitor is still very dry with areas of severe drought in eastern South Dakota. This weekend will be the best chance in a while to see widespread rain — over an inch — for the eastern region. The rain is expected to come Saturday into Sunday.
