(Presho, SD) — The identities of those involved in a fatal crash near Presho on Thursday have been revealed by authorities. The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says 31-year-old Jan Bothma of Presho was driving an agricultural sprayer vehicle on 305th Avenue when he failed to stop at the intersection and collided with 33-year-old Chance Veurink of Vivian. Bothma wasn’t injured but Veurink died at the scene and was wearing a seatbelt. The crash is still being investigated by the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
