New Giving Meters In Downtown Rapid City

(Rapid City, SD) — Downtown Rapid City is making some generous new additions to its streets. They’re called “Giving Meters,” looking a lot like parking meters. But Downtown Rapid City President Matt Seftner says, “They’re going to be the color of green, the color of giving.” When money is put in, those funds are going back to the community with the help of various charity partners. Rapid City currently has five Giving Meters up and running throughout downtown that take change or card payments with an additional four to be installed.
