(Pierre, SD) — New polling is revealing majority support for November’s General Election ballot measure to legalize abortion in South Dakota. Constitutional Amendment G would reverse the state’s abortion ban. The poll was conducted by South Dakota News Watch and the Chiesman Center for Democracy. It shows close to a 20-point lead for abortion access support. Just over 53 percent of polled voters are in support of the measure with above 35 percent opposing and about 11 percent undecided.
