(Sioux Falls, SD) — Chris Reder says he is thinking about his future as a lawmaker after experiencing health issues. The Republican was elected to the South Dakota House of Representatives earlier this month. Reder posted on Facebook that a text message he sent to a closed group got forwarded to many other people and was released. Reder says he has been having some unexpected health issues recently and he is “still unsure of the future.” He added that he is asking for some time and space to figure out what his health will allow.
