Noem’s Whistleblower Hotline Reveals Complaints With SD Schools

(Pierre, SD) — The whistleblower hotline created by Governor Noem for the state’s Board of Regents is revealing complaints with South Dakota schools. Noem took to her personal Twitter account to share some of the calls that have been received. One was about pushing for mask mandates, another about endorsing critical race theory, and a third about “compelling speech to support preferred political positions”. Noem says she created the hotline for students, parents, taxpayers and faculty to voice concerns. The governor wants higher education reformed by the Board of Regents through policies such as removing all references to preferred pronouns, banning drag shows, expanding free speech protections for students and making tuition more affordable.
