(Vermillion, SD) — Officials in Vermillion are trying to get people’s cars left behind off of the snowy streets. Police say random vehicles are posing a hazard to local residents and the street snow removal crew. VPD is being lenient about the situation because of the extreme weather, but officers will begin ticketing and towing any vehicles sitting in the street beginning Tuesday.
