(Rapid City, SD) — Pennington County’s Sheriff is warning about a potential delivery app scam. A local DoorDash driver in Rapid City says she recently got a call from a number that said DoorDash support. The caller said her most recent order had been canceled, but that she’d still be paid if she would provide the caller with her bank account information. That’s a scam. The sheriff’s office says no one should ever give-out their bank account information to someone on the phone. If you get a similar call, just hang-up.
