(Sturgis, SD) — The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is putting out an offer for any certified, full-time law enforcement officers to become a rally deputy for the Sturgis motorcycle rally. They are offering 27-dollars an hour for pay along with housing and food per diem. Agency approval is needed along with handgun and taser certifications. The 84th annual Sturgis Rally is scheduled for August 1st through the 10th and the Central States Fair is August 15th through the 25th.
