Pine Ridge Man Admits To Being Accessory For Murder

(Pine Ridge, SD) — A missing or murdered Indigenous persons case has an update. Charles Brings Plenty from Pine Ridge is admitting to knowing about a murder and lying to investigators. He has pleaded guilty to an ‘Accessory After the Fact’ charge connected to the death of CJ Grass Jr. on the Pine Ridge Reservation. CJ’s mother previously said he went missing in April of last year before he was found dead three months later. Brings Plenty has a sentencing hearing set for July 2nd and could potentially be facing up to 15 years in federal prison.
