(Sioux Falls, SD) — Police are still searching for answers 50-years after a woman went missing in Sioux Falls. Aberdeen native Ellabeth Mae Lodermeier was reported missing by her husband on March 6th, 1974. She was just 25-years-old. The Sioux Falls Police Department hopes the 50-year anniversary of her disappearance will give the case more attention. Police spokesperson Sam Clemens says her husband, Gene Lodermeier, is believed to have played a role in disappearance. She was reportedly divorcing him for being abusive. He passed away in 2013. Still, authorities are looking for information to help give Ellabeth’s family closure. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
