Poll Finds South Dakotans Support Grocery Tax Repeal

(Rapid City, SD) — A new poll finds 66-percent of registered voters in South Dakota are supporting a repeal of the state’s grocery tax. The four-point-two-percent tax is applied to groceries and the support for the repeal is up five-percent since November. South Dakota is one of just two states that tax groceries ad the full rate. Voters will decide on the repeal in November.
