(Pierre, SD) — A new poll is revealing more South Dakotans now have an unfavorable view of Governor Noem. According to a scientific poll of 500 registered voters co-sponsored by South Dakota News Watch, nearly half say they have an unfavorable view of Noem. This development follows the heavy backlash she received through the rollout of her new book, “No Going Back.” Almost two-thirds of the polled South Dakotans say Governor Noem damaged her credibility in the controversy over a couple excerpts from the book. Nearly 60 percent of South Dakotans, including 55 percent of Republicans, also believe Noem shouldn’t be chosen as Trump’s vice-presidential nominee this year.
