Potential For Flooding In Watertown

(Watertown, SD) — The Big Sioux River in Watertown is expected to overflow this weekend. The National Weather Service says there’s a 90-percent chance of moderate flooding at the Broadway River Gauge. Folks should be especially cautious April 8th through 15th. Lake Kampeska is also expected to overflow. Large pumps are being set up around both lakes to help drain the water.
