President Biden Commutes Sentence Of Tobias Ritesman

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The man behind a scheme years ago in South Dakota is getting his sentence commuted by President Biden. Tobias Ritesman was sentenced to nine years in prison for swindling investors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars in 2019. The money Ritesman was supposed to go toward a proposed fish and vegetable farm south of Brookings called Global Aquaponics. It never happened as Ritesman was deceiving about the project and his credentials. However, Ritesman will no longer be in prison, his case one of nearly 15-hundred Biden granted clemency to yesterday. The White House document released doesn’t say why Ritesman’s sentence is being commuted, but he will still remain a convicted felon.
