(Pierre, SD) — It looks like most of South Dakota will be getting some much-needed rain this weekend. A system is expected to move across the state this weekend, bringing an average of a half inch to an inch and a half or more for some areas. The weather has been more active through April, and that is expected to continue into May. These next few systems do have the chance to be heavier storms. However, the moisture is a welcomed site for the water table heading into summer and helping out those areas of the state dealing with dry conditions.
