Rain Puts Damper On Some July 4th Celebrations

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The 4th of July got off to a soggy start in parts of South Dakota Tuesday. While the rain was a welcome sight for many, it did put a damper on some celebrations. Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken announced on Twitter the parade was canceled because of storms in the area. The City of Lennox was forced to scrub its parade from the Old Fashioned 4th Of July Celebration, too.
