(Rapid City, SD) — A Pennington County man will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars for child sexual abuse. Forty-seven-year-old Lloyd Elk was convicted in July of six counts of child sex charges. The abuse happened in 2013 and 2014 when the victim was around six-years-old. Elk was sentenced on Thursday to 50 years in federal prison.
