(Rapid City, SD) — Add Rapid City’s mayor to the list of people denouncing the neo-Nazi marches in South Dakota. Mayor Jason Salamun yesterday called members of the Blood Tribe “masked clowns,” and said they do not represent the ideals of America. The Tribe marched over the weekend in Pierre and Deadwood. Mayor Salamun is one of many leaders across the state to slam the Tribe’s march and their message.
