Rapid City Opens New Visitor Center

(Rapid City, SD) — Rapid City is preparing to attract more visitors with its brand new visitor center. The Rapid City Visitor Center located on 613 Main Street, had its grand opening yesterday. CEO of Visit Rapid City Brook Kaufman says they’re trying to serve 20-thousand or more people this year. Last year, the city’s visitor office space helped 15-hundred visitors. Kaufman says they plan to create more experiences for visitors to enjoy throughout the summer, like live music or pop up events.
