(Rapid City, SD) — The Rapid City Police Department is warning to beware of an uptick of porch pirates over the holiday season. Police recommend taking precautions to avoid falling victim to these thefts. This includes scheduling deliveries when you will be home or having packages dropped off someplace out of sight. Police say doorbell cameras also can serve as a deterrent.
