(Pierre, SD) — A red flag warning is still in effect for many parts of eastern South Dakota. The combination of warm temperatures, low humidities, and strong winds are setting up major risk for wildland fires. Winds were gusting well over 40 miles an hour on Wednesday. Officials are urging people to avoid doing any activities that may spark a fire.
