(Sioux Falls, SD) — A South Dakota Republican Congressman has almost six-million-dollars in campaign money as he runs for his fourth term in the U.S. House. Dusty Johnson has several committees, including Friends of Dusty Johnson, Dusty Johnson Victory Committee, and Dakota Leadership PAC. According to the latest filing with the U.S. Federal Election Commission, Friends of Dusty Johnson has the biggest bank account with three-and-a-half million dollars in contributions to his campaign. He also has five-point-one million dollars cash. On top of funding his current campaign, Johnson has also transferred over 40-thousand dollars to the National Republican Congressional over the summer. If Johnson decides to run for governor in 2026, he’ll be able to use the current funds for that campaign.
