Roberts County Girls Missing, Search Underway

(New Effington, SD) — A search is underway for two missing girls from Roberts County. Authorities say 47-year-old Amber Perez took her children from their grandparents near New Effington around 3 p.m. yesterday. Perez does not have custody of the girls. They are 5 and 2 years old. Perez is believed to be traveling in blue Pontiac Grand Am. The Roberts County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to reach out or call 911 if they see anything.
