RV Donated By SD Family With Hurricane Victims

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The RV donated by a Sioux Falls family to victims of Hurricane Helene is now on the ground in western North Carolina. Air Force veteran Rob Flannery and his family lost everything when the storm hit the region at the end of September. That included their campground they had built to help veterans with mental health issues. Stephanie Spader Pavlik came up with idea because her family was already planning to move on from the Shadow Cruiser RV they’ve used a few years but still in like-new condition. And as the daughter of a Vietnam War veteran, Pavlik felt compelled to find a veteran family that lost everything from Hurricane Helene. The RV arrived around the middle of last week after Flannery got the call in October it would be coming to western North Carolina. Pavlik also has a nonprofit foundation, Unbroken and Brave, which raised more than 11-thousand dollars to fill the RV with supplies needed for someone to live out of a camper before leaving Sioux Falls.
