Scheduled Burn Planned For Little Bend Game Production Area

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks is announcing a prescribed burn in the Little Bend Game Production Area in Sully County. It’s teaming up with the state’s Wildland Fire department for the burn in mid-May. Crews are planning to set roughly 25-hundred acres on fire. They say it will help nurture a healthy prairie ecosystem and benefit wildlife in the area.
