(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota’s Attorney General Marty Jackley is joining a lawsuit against the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission over new sexual harassment guidance. The suit was filed Monday. It claims the new guidelines “unlawfully extend Title VII’s protections against sex-based discrimination to cover gender identity.” South Dakota and 17 states filed the lawsuit.
