(Rapid City, SD) — Prepare for more closures on U.S. Highway 385. The state plans to rebuild 15 miles from the Pennington-Lawrence County line to Sheridan Lake. Work on the northern segment is underway and will continue through July 12th. This is the longest scenic road in the Black Hills but dangerous for its winding path and high rate of crashes. Another four highway closures are planned over the next two years.
