SD Education Department, Gov Submit Public Comment On Title IX

(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Education and Governor Kristi Noem are submitting a public comment against President Biden’s proposed changes to Title IX. The president wants to disallow “blanket bans” against transgender athletes in schools. Noem wrote, “If not withdrawn, the department’s flawed proposed rule will cause harm to women and girls in sports.”
