(Pine Ridge, SD) — A western South Dakota man is behind bars for kidnapping and assault. Patrick Brewer, Senior, was indicted by a federal grand jury for kidnapping a woman, and then beating her and assaulting her with a sword. Court Documents reveal the alleged crimes happened on December 28th between Pine Ridge and Oglala. The victim had significant injuries, but her current condition is not known at this time.
