The House Speaker vote is taking place sometime today as a new Congress gets underway in D.C. Dusty Johnson tells KELO Land News he’s clearly backing Speaker Johnson, following the lead of President-elect Donald Trump’s endorsement. Dusty added that Mike Johnson knows how to navigate the waters during what he’s calling a deeply divided time and difficult environment for both the country and the House. Representative Dusty Johnson will continue his tenure as South Dakota’s only member of the U.S. House today.
