(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol has a message for folks this long, Memorial Day weekend. “Drive Safe, Arrive Alive.” State troopers will be out in full force through Monday night. They’ll be highly visible and actively engaged in traffic enforcement and crash-reduction efforts. Some travel safety tips include slowing down, always wearing a seatbelt, driving sober, and avoiding distractions.
