(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota State Employee Organization is opening a discussion about Governor Noem’s new executive order. On Monday, Noem made it a requirement for all state employees and supervisors to complete a training program covering legal and ethical standards. SDSEO says it wants to be more involved in the process, adding that the recent fraud cases among state employees has shown a lack of checks and balances. The organization also says it hopes lawmakers and other state officials can tackle more problems within the system in the upcoming Legislative Session.
