(Brookings, SD) — South Dakota State Football is off to Frisco, Texas, to defend its title against the Montana Grizzlies on Sunday. Jackrabbit fans filled the streets of Brookings yesterday to bid farewell to the players and coaches who have an undefeated season in sight. Longtime former head coach John Stiegelmeier also took part in the sendoff. The team traveled all day and arrived at their hotel Thursday evening. The FCS Championship kicks off at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
