(Brookings, SD) — The new Free Application for Federal Student Aid form, better known as FAFSA, is getting a stamp of approval from South Dakota State. School officials are praising the simplicity for students and families. It now only takes about 15 minutes to complete the FAFSA. However, there are still some challenges coming with the switch to a new system. Financial aid packages are being held up for many as they deal with potential errors on forms and delayed communication to universities across the country.
