(Spokane, WA) — South Dakota State women’s basketball is out of the NCAA Tournament after the First Round. The 12th-seeded Jackrabbits fell short to Number 5 Utah, 68-54, on Saturday night. The loss snapped a 21-game win streak. But it was still a remarkable season for SDSU, completing a second consecutive unbeaten season in the Summit League. The team’s regular season dominance led the Jacks into their 12th appearance in the NCAA Tournament in just 16 years of eligibility.
