(Sioux Falls, SD) — Questions are being raised after multiple disruptions at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls. Live videos of one incident last Thursday night were streamed on X. Inmates had set fires inside of cells during that incident, reportedly after a corrections officer was assaulted the day before. The Division of Criminal Investigation is now looking into the incidents.
