SF Airport Construction Starts Thursday

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Those who plan to fly in or out of the Sioux Falls Regional Airport should prepare for more travel time on the road because a new construction project is about to get underway. Construction preparations have already begun on a two-milion dollar 85-foot Skyway connecting the parking garage to the airport. Sioux Falls Regional Airport Executive Director Dan Letellier says the project will begin Thursday and there will be a 10-hour closure along Jaycee Lane. The lane will close at 5 p.m. Wednesday and construction will begin at 8 a.m. the following day and will wrap up around 6 p.m. Letellier says the project is expected to be completed around October.
