(Sioux Falls, SD) — Absentee voting isn’t giving much of an idea of how elections are going to turn out in Sioux Falls. The upcoming city council and school board elections in Sioux Falls are on Tuesday. Election officials are calling early turnout “slow” ahead of the voting. However, they say it’s likely normal considering there’s no extravagant race for mayor this year. Sioux Falls City Clerk Jeremy Washington says he doesn’t expect overall turnout to even reach 20-percent even after the weekend.
