Sioux Falls Announces Donations For Jacobson Plaza

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken is sharing that a series of donations is going to benefit two major projects in the city. One final push from generous community members kicked off efforts at Jacobson Plaza by the Levitt Shell that include a dog park and a splash pad at Falls Park West. Each donor will be added to a long list of philanthropy in the city. The Lloyd family will be donating one-million dollars for the dog park and T. Denny Sanford will be donating a million-and-a-half for the splash pad. The naming of the new facilities is still pending approval from City Council with expected completion to be in early 2025.
