(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society is looking for cat foster volunteers as kitten season ramps up. Foster coordinator and kennel supervisor Lexy Nuttbrock says kittens are less likely to get sick in a home setting. It’s an opportunity to get them ready to be adopted to be in a home setting. The humane society does provide items fosters need, such as litter and food. Kittens are supposed to return to the shelter at about 8 weeks old.
