Sioux Falls City Council Voting On 4 Years Of Utility Rate Increases

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls City Council is announcing it’s plans to vote next month on whether to approve several multi-year utility rate increases. City officials say they’re needed to maintain funding and service levels. The council will vote on the proposal at their June 6th and June 20th meetings. If approved, the new rates would go into effect beginning January 1st, 2024.
