(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sioux Falls City Council is putting its efforts towards a possible solution to the state’s ongoing child care crisis. The City Council wants to make an action plan within the next two months. Greg Neitzert with the Northwest District says it’s likely going to take a three-way solution: individuals paying for a portion of their child care, potential government intervention — state and local, and then help from employers. Council members are also working to get input from local business owners.
