(Paris) — The Olympic run of Sioux Falls native Taryn Kloth [[ klohth ]] has come to an end. Kloth and her partner Kristen Nuss lost a pair of close sets to a Canadian duo on Monday in the round of 16. The scores were 21-19 and 21-18. Kloth said after the match she was “very disappointed” but also excited that she “got this opportunity” to compete in the Olympics. The six-foot-four Kloth and five-foot-six Nuss gained notoriety on social media during the Olympics for both their play and their height difference. The pair finished ninth in their first-ever Olympic appearance.
